"Delta has re-invested in modernization and business process in recent years. A good fit for Delta these days is someone with high skills in their particular expertise combined with a motivation to examine current operations along with collaboration with others for continued improvements. Be more than a task master, be a knowledge asset in the business."

What don't you like about working at Delta Air Lines?

"Following financial difficulties and reorganizations in 1994, people became commodities, and the vision became cost control."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Delta along with all other airlines have great challenges. My only suggestion is to return to the paradigm of being an employee friendly place to work. This attribute created a high performance culture in previous years."
